Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez was interviewed by MLB Network for their segment '30 Clubs in 30 Days' on Saturday and talked about several topics including the origin of his no-look tags.
"When I was young I would try to confuse the runners," Baez said to reporter Robert Flores. "One of my coaches said I should get to the bag earlier and act like the ball isn't coming and last-second drop the tag. I started doing it and got really good at it."
